Mrs. Jessica Townsend

 

I am the math interventionst at Forrest Elementary in Hampton, VA and have been for the past 3 years.

 

A math interventionist is a teacher who does not have his/her own classroom. Instead, we are able to work with children in many different grades to help them better understand all of the different math concepts. 

Before I was at Forrest, I worked as a classroom teacher in grades 3-5 for six years in Newport News, VA

 

I am a 2005 graduate of Old Dominion University and currently hold a Master's Degree in

Elementary Education.
